With Jim and his longbow, I would say yes, he is always trying to make that wheel faster, smoother, quieter, more durable etc.......

More durable, quieter and most likely slightly faster. What Jim has done is amazing. He said my bow will be shipped Wednesday so pics should be up Saturday.

Jim built me a 60" Triple Carbon Elite last month. Action Bamboo & Locust limbs with the XLT layer. Charcoal Sky Dymalux riser. 48 @ 28 60". Shoots great and very quite. Cannot imagine any way to improve it. Whats the secret option ??

Jim's has came up with a name for the new-option. It will be called DARK MATTER. This will be a riser option. I have always told Jim the only complaint I've heard about his bows were that they were too light in the hand. DARK MATTER takes care of this issue. DARK MATTER is a proprietary material that gives his slim little longbows the weight of a 3pc. The DARK MATTER also has almost no deflection therefore adding to the speed and quietness of the bow. This will be a must have for the person wanting the best performing and most indestructible bow out there. The DARK MATTER will be a $200 option which still keeps his bows cost less than other carbon one piece bows out there.

Jim and I have had several conversations over the last several months regarding significantly increasing mass wt. Appears he will not have to endure my pestering any longer.
Looking forward to reading about your experience with her.
Congrats to both you and Jim!!!

Oh yeah Jim, now you come out with it. After I begged for an all black bow and we had to search for Ebony dymondwood. Sounds like an awesome bow, can't wait to order one. I guess I need to get on the list again.
