Hey all,

Northern Mist bow pics don't come up too often and I'd like to see some. I have always heard great things about NM bows, especially their Hill styles. I also like the Baraga.

When I was checking out the website I seen something I didn't know they made, a 3 piece Takedown Longbow called the WITBECK. I don't think I have ever read a thread talking about these bows, but then again it could be that I wouldn't have recognized it if it were here. That is one great looking TD Longbow. I'd like to hear how it matches up against some of the other 3 Piece TD's out there.

So if you have any pics of Northern Mist longbows including the WITBECK, how about posting them. And if you have one in Classic Great Northern Green Glass.....well you MUST post a pic of that.

Of course I wouldn't mind at all if you tossed in your thoughts about your Northern Mist bow.

Thanks for your time

Nalajr

This is my green glass Shelton.....I consider Steve's bows as some of the finest Hill style longbows being built today. I have other makes including three Hills, a ShrewHill, Fred Anderson, Talon, and Wallace Mountain, but the NM bows are right there with all of them in quality of workmanship and performance. I have a friend who owns a Witbeck and really loves that bow--I haven't had any experience with that one.

I don't have any pictures of mine but I have his Ottawa Recurve and 2 NM Superior Longbows. Great shooting bows, excellent craftmanship and you won't find a better person to deal with and talk to.

Steve makes awesome bows. I have an Ottawa recurve that has been my "go to" hunting bow the last two years. He is building me another Ottawa now.

Here is a little buck I killed with it.

Turkey from last fall

Here is a Whisper that I had. Loved that bow, it was just a touch too heavy.

Hey Lamey, isnt that MY Baraga now? Looking forward to it.

Northern Mist really is my favorite.

Jashu, yes sir this one is yours, going out monday!

I like the pics of that Whiser, its the first one I have seen with kind of a "locator" style grip, really changes the entire look of that bow.

68", 50@28. Boo cores, red elm veneers, bubonga riser and tips.
Great shooters!
