I have a owned a bunch of the Double Bull recurve and standard height blinds over the years. Done alot of filmimg with 2 guys in the blind.

I shot a bunch of stuff out of the regular height blind with a 62" recurve...but I also hit a limb now and then (never goes well). Even with the taller one you have to be aware of your position, but not as critical.

Another [thumbsup] for the Ameristep Penthouse. 90" tall, not a hub blind, but can set it up in about 10 minutes once you've done it a time or two. Good window options, and black interior liner. If you have kids, there's plenty of room inside for two of you.
Good luck!

The Barronett 350 is perfect for longbows or recurves, very roomy and very easy to set up.

Rhino Cut & Run.It's a two panel blind with no top.It only weighs about 5 lbs. and sets up in seconds.I find it perfect for setting up in fencerows and brushy areas where a full size blind can be a pain.

I have four Double Bull recurve blinds that we use for hogs and turkeys. I've shot up to a 62" longbow out of them but like a 60" curve a lot better.

If you want a quality blind made in the USA, the Hidden Hunter is the one. No other blind sets up and takes down as quick and easy as the Hidden Hunter. Check out the video demo.

I have an Ameristep Bone Collector blind. Usually I avoid buying products that have some TV show endorsement name thingy, but someone knew what they were doing when they designed this thing. It's quiet, roomy enough for my 6'4" self and my 14-year old daughter together, has long vertical windows in the corners for close shots (or to keep from hitting your upper limb on the roof), NO velcro or zippers in the windows, and it's built tough. It also has loops for adding brush and a handy roof vent for warm days.

I have a DB Dark Horse. It is a nice blind but not tall enough for worry-free ceiling clearance with 58-62" recurves I shoot.

My son has a DB Supreme (I think that is the name). It is 73 or 75" tall. It is very nice. We'll be sharing it this turkey season.

No BC logo products go home with me.

If you can find one, the Invisiblind is top notch. Every bit as big as the DB Recurve, maybe bigger. Ted Nugent used the Invisiblind before they went out of business and he was forced to switch to the Double Bull. Invisiblind was in business before Double Bull, they just didn't have the financial backing to support their product.Invisiblind was well made and plenty big for an adult, and a 10 year old or two. Good luck in your quest. Shoot straight and "Keep'Um Sharp".

Check out the H.I.P.S. bow blind. A lot of fun especially with turkeys.

From looking at numerous options in pop-ups, what are your opinions on window configurations? Many of the pictures that I've seen show the windows as glaring black holes, but more importantly, what about shooting out of the blind; what is your preference or what do you wish was different as far as window layout re: shootability?

Thanks,
TomBow
