I've been in the market for a while for a couple new hats for bowhunting. I searched all over the Internet and finally settled on DelMonico Hatter out of New Haven, CT. They've been around since 1908 and had a great inventory of hats made here in the U.S.A., as well as Italy (Borsalino). I ended up purchasing two Bailey hats...the Packer and the Briar. One nice option they had was for an extra $10.00, you could get a hat box to store them in. I ended up purchasing two of the hat boxes as well. Let me tell you, they are a great place and have a friendly staff. The hats arrived in no time and were shipped and packed perfectly. The hat boxes were definitely worth the money for storage in the off-season. Oh, one more thing...they had free shipping too. These are the two I went with...
Just another great American business with American made products. I thought I would share with my fellow TradGangers.

Thanks Jason, Nice hats. I bookmarked the site for the future. I wonder if the hats really do keep their shape.

It states Litefelt and 100% wool? Little confused on the word felt or does felt apparently = Wool? Tried searching out their definition and came up with Nadda

I already have a Shelter Cloth Packer Hat as well. I love Filson products too...well, the U.S.A. made ones that is!
I'm glad this helped some fellow traditionalists...that was my goal.
