I got PooPooed by the wife for shooting one the size of a small loaf of bread. Since it was already dead she decided she would eat her half.

feed them and they will be following you around like dogs shortly. better pets than a lot of dogs i have had! I caught one a couple weeks ago doing a control burn and he is growing like a weed and chasing the kids and dogs around, sleeps with the dogs.

Great story,I had a feeling as I was reading this was going in a different direction.
They can be nasty biters,I caught one a few ponds bigger once.Welding gloves was manditory. [scared]

The mama to those piglets winded me and ran off. She would have been a little harder to handle. She was mid 300's easy. The whole way back to the truck, with those squealing babies in tow, I could just feel big mama running up to rescue the youngens. Makes for an interesting walk in the dark to the truck.
