I'm working on getting an aluminum arrow set up for my bows. They run 42#-45# @ 28". I pull 28". Bows are cut to center.
I have been recently been playing with a 2016 xx75 Gamegetter. Currently it is cut to 30" with 125gr tip. It shoots & flies well when I do my part. I tried a 175gr tip to up my FOC and from about 15yds it flew alright but hit right of where i was aiming. Anything beyond 15yds it's flight looked unstable. I'm curious if I cut it down another half inch if that would stiffen the shaft up enough for the heavier tip. Or should I try a 2018 or 2020?
Last question what is the difference between the regular black Gamegetters versus the Legacies (besides shaft color)?
Thanks in advance guys!

I think you would be much better off with a 1916.

I use a 1916 on bows from 43#-47#. I draw 27", arrows are 28" BOP, w/125gr heads. I like the swaged nock end and use Legacy' & Blues.
