Looking for your thoughts on the Northern Mist Whisper. I currently have 2 Classics, so I know the Whisper has gotta be awesome, but im looking for thoughts on the reverse handle style, from those of you who own them [campfire] or have shot them. Thanks

I shot one and then ordered one from Steve so I guess I was impressed. I have a few months to wait before it is finished. The one I tried had the straight grip and it felt pretty comfortable but I'm wondering if I should have ordered the locator grip. I hope to be a little more consistent with the reverse grip over the Hill style grip on my classic. Moleman did you buy the one in the classifieds the other day?

I would opt for the "locator" grip on the Whisper, Steve had one at Tannehill, and it was one of the most comfortable grips ive felt. I never thought I would "like" a reverse handle longbow, but that one changed my mind.

I have one with the locator grip. It is one of the best all-round bows I have ever owned. Steve does great work.

I recently got a 56# for 3D and i love it. Mine has a straight grip , 66" long with a 6 strand 8125 string. It shoots very very well. I will probably hunt with it this fall

I've been shooting my Whisper with locator grip for about 4yrs. now. It's my go to bow. Stable, forgiving, dead quiet.66" #51@28.
