Howdy all.

Was just wondering how many members here carry a knife with them while out with their bows.

Thought I would see what knives the members on the forum here enjoy.

Cheers,

Basil.

I had Ben Tendick (srtben) make me one. He is a sponsor on here and does beautiful work. He just sent me some pics of the finished product. I will be carrying with me as much as possible when it arrives. Look over on the Knife making forum to see some of his art. Hopefully everyone will post some pics of their knives, I'm sure everyone at least carries one in their packs.

I also carry always. Due to my job it is a Swiss army model.

When hunting I have a multi tool, straight blade belt knife and the Swiss. All of us have too many knives (according to wives)
There was a thread on this earlier and there are some beauties out there

Grew up with a pocket knife in my pocket from grade school days and never changed. In those days there were referred to as tools not as weapons as seems to be the catchword of the day. Now a Benchmade Leopard and a good old Case Trapper as constant companions.

Same here...went to the Holocost Museum in D.C. the other day and they would not let me carry my Spiderco Endura into the museum and asked me to leave the property. After a minor temper-tantrum involving the rule and how it should not apply to active members of military/law enforcement/citizens in gereral, I stashed it in a newspaper box of the "Washington Blade" news periodical (seemed appropriate) on the corner, pouted for the first few mins. of the museum and then decided it was a small issue compared to the history we were experiening there. Still not pleased with it though...

I'm not a fanatic but I usually have a knife of some sort. If in the field or at the range I will normally have a leatherman and knife or two.
