I received a new DVS bow last night and have been shooting it. I can’t put in words how well the bow shoots. I normally shoot a 650 gr. Arrow so I grabbed one and let her fly. I was surprise that little bow sent that arrow down range to the target as quick as any bow I have. The bow itself is fun to shoot with no hand shock and light in the hand. Its a Bamboo backed Osage with Cocobolo, Tiger wood accents and a Gemsbuck
overlay. I’ll have some pictures on here soon.

I've been waiting a while to see this one finished.

I liked it before the snake skin was added so it can only look prettier.

GB be sure to get some full draw pictures of it too.

Congratulations!

Maybe someday I'll own one of Dave's self bows.

God bless,Mudd

Glad you like it jerry. Did you add a shelf before you covered the handle or are you just shooting off the knuckle for now? How was the Sunday shoot?

Mike, thanks for the vote of confidence. I'm glad you like it

Thanks Mudd. Last time you saw it, the gemsbok horn wasnt opn yet, and the last time I saw it the leather wasn't on. The handle leather covers up the tigerwood I used to take the nasty knot out of the handle. Jerry is shooting it in for a few weeks and then I will put a better finish on it. It only hs two quick coats of cheap spray poly right now. I bet if you asked Jerry to shoot it he'd let you. [archer2]
How is your bow coming?

I'm sorry to say they aren't any further along than my last post about them.

Unfortunately they will have to stay that way until I can get someone to finish them for me.

My body is having issues that prevent me from going further.

God bless,Mudd

Yes, bamboo backed osage with cocobolo and tigerwood accents. The snake skin kinda covers the nodes on the boo and the leather jerry put on cover the gemsbok horn handle. [knothead] [biglaugh]
Jerry asked before he covered it up. [banghead] [goldtooth]

Sorry to here that mudd. Ronnie mac glued her up, I added the tip overlays, whos gonna tiller, and then whos gonna finish it? You could be on to something.

The family were together for Easter and as usual the question came up. What does Grandpa have that is new? Well the DVSHunter was pulled out and some shooting soon followed.
