Something is a miss this year as far as the auction goes.
Seems like there's not much interest, excitement, or anticipation at all. We are way behind on listings, and there's no chatter or banter about it this at all this year.
Guys n Gals....remember, this isn't about the site, or the members, or our trad bowhunting community....this is about helping sick kids.
Any ideas on how to 'rally the troops'?

Seems that way this year Terry. It seems as there are a lot of new folks here who for one reason or another don't understand what this is all about. One thing I've noticed this year is there are no "big names" jawing back and forth at one another. When regular guys can fraternise with their hero's or guys they have only read about, it seems to take it up a notch

This is my first year and am glad to put a item up for auctioning and I am looking forward to it. Don't know what the other years were like but I will see if I can help out with some more items if you need it. Just let me know!

The economy has put a dark cloud over a lot of folks. And I think it keeps them from being able to focus on anything but the family financial needs.
Hopefully it will start to change and guys and gals will get involved.
Even small donations and bids will go a long way to helping the kids of St. Jude.

I noticed far fewer listings as well, but like Gator said....there are some really nice items in there and I'm saving my coins in hopes of helping the kids at St. Judes.

I cannot speak for anyone else but my family's current financial status has resulted in the deletion of anything extra spending including charitable donations to our church and programs like St. Jude's.
I have cut out any extra driving to local shoots and even going hunting. Our situation will turn around but we need to watch every expenditure.
I have not looked at the auction so it is not painful.
I wish good luck to all my Brothers. I wish a nice proceeds to St Judes.
Even though I will not be spending, I have listed items for auction.

Maybe if there are fewer items in the auction this year, they will just bring highter prices and the kids still win. I am looking forward to it, and am saving my pennies...
