Thanks Guys I was just goofing around with a new camera on a AZ elk hunt taken with a self timer.I adjusted the camera on the tree I'm next to and sprinted down for the shot.
Turns out there was a small harem of elk beded just above my head in the photo 5 cows and a 340 class 5x6.they must have thought I was another elk that got jumped from it's bed cause they all came running by 10 seconds after I jogged into photo position.
The bull was the only one in the bunch that never presented a shot. It's hard to see in the pic but you can see 2 cows bedded above my head.The 640 makes it tough to see.I still can't believe I didn't see them.
