Well Done Scott! She's a beauty. I've gotta say, for a guy that is just getting into Trad Archery, you sure do have some excellent gear! I like that quiver, nice work.
Congrats on the bow. I just got home from the range, guess what I was shooting today? Yes, a Bama Hunter.

I have my beautiful and wonderful wife to thank for the bow. I caught the traditional bug a while back and she got me this for Father's Day. I'm a lucky man.

Thanks! I'm 35 and I got my first real bow (Pearson compound) when I was eight. I've been fletching arrows almost that long. But, this was my first attempt at splicing feathers. They turned out fairly well, but it was a learning experience, and I think I'll do the colors a little differently when I refletch.

Wow! I like the looks of that bow! That curly maple is awesome! You'll have to be careful not to set the bow down when you're hunting, or you won't find it again. By the way, you make a great looking quiver!

The bow is certainly nice. My style too - not ornate or overly fancy. As nice as the bow is, I think I'm more impressed with the home-made quiver and arrows!

Awesome. I just picked up a slightly used Royal Expidition Bamabow and its an incredible shooter! I plan getting a takedown next. Whats the significance of the writing on the limb?

Just a quote that I like from a Cormac McCarthy book. I could bore you all with what it means to me, but I'll spare you.

I've got a 2 piece takedown that's 64" and 45# that I picked up in a trade that could be her fraternal twin. Mine has more of a rust colored grip, but other than that very similar. The only thing that I would change is I wish it was a bit longer. My next Bama, will probably be 68" or maybe even 70". The main question is only how long it will be before I convince my wife that I need yet another bow. Good luck with the new set up, looks like you've definately got things going in the right direction.

eminart, that's the most beautiful bow I have ever seen. Understated elegance. The quiver and arrows top it off. (You kinda went crazy on those feathers, though) Posts: 693 | From: North Dakota | Registered: Aug 2006

The whole package is great...a real looker and no doubt deadly...it is indeed simple beauty.

Yeah, I agree. I'm going to simplify a little on my next attempt.
