I am just about ready to order a wool pullover from the Asbell's and was wondering about sizing. I have heard they run a little big. I was wondering if anyone else about my size has ordered one and what size you got. Oh yeah, how did it fit. I'm 5'11" weigh about 265# and I'm fairly broad across the shoulders. Thanks.

I bought a zipper hooded shirt/jacket at Compton . I wear a large normally and large is what i bought keeping in mind I could have heavy clothes under it. I thought it to be perfect.
good luck you can’t go wrong with their merchandise top quality and craftmanship.

I'm between an M and an L. I ordered an M and sold it so I can buy an L since I'm a skinny dude and have to layer under it.

mellonhead....double check with teresa before you buy, but I think you would be a perfect XXL.

Asbell wool is just roomy enough for a little layering.

You and I are twins then cause that's exactly what I am so 2XL will fit perfect cause I got two and I'm broad across the shoulders/center also... [Roll Eyes]

The cut is pretty true with room for a little layering as already mentioned, the stuff is great for a wide range of temps, too.

Don't get in a big hurry.. I ordered and paid for some stuff from Asbell on June 4th and still have not received it more than a month later.

Sorry for the sour grapes, (I'm usually a quiet guy) but but I called near the end of June to check the status and was told they were gone for 2 weeks and would get on it. So, I noticed by the tracking number that the "Electronic shipping information" was received by USPS on July 1st. and I thought "great", but it is yet more than another week later and the package has still not been delivered to USPS for shipping.

Just fyi

Thats twice you posted about this, the first time you didn't mention it was shipped and you had a tracking number....If Teresa shipped it, you should be going after the USPS, not the Asbells. I suggest you follow up with them and quit posting negative information on a public forum.

Thanks guys. Now I need to decide on a pattern. Kinda torn between the little delta plaid and evening stand green or brown. I hunt the hardwood forests here in PA. Opinions welcomed.

I'm 6'4", 265 lbs, and the XXL fits fine. I have the evening stand brown and it works great in southcentral PA

Roger, you didn't read my post completely. I said USPS received the electronic shipping information, not the package. They can't ship what they haven't got.
