Well I'm no where near the bowyer I think I am, lol but I did have a blast finishing up this Bamboo backed bow blank from Mike Yancey at Pine Hollow Longbows. And gents this bow shoots as well as any longbow I have, they should call them Natural Shooters. Seriously a blast and easy to do, I can't wait to start another one. I learned so much doing this one, the next one is going to be better. And I have no doubt I am going to hunt with this bow this year, it shoots that well, no string silencers needed. Heck I don't see why I would buy another finished bow. For the money this is a keeper.

Yes I did use the Tennis grip, I find it cushions the hand and I use a softer grip, helps keep the tension off the bow hand.

Oh I'll be tempted all right when you come up with a one piece sxt, dang it, I'm drooling already. I can see it now a 50's style recurve with Zipper flair !!!
