I've always fletched with tape when doing up any arrows, but I know a lot of guys prefer glue. I've used Fletchtite Platinum in the past, and it works great, but takes forever to fletch up a dozen arrows on a single jig.
What glue have you guys used that doesn't take as long to dry and you've had good success? Or should I just stick with the tape?

Stick with tape.... Keep it in the frig when not in use, last longer, If you get some that that dose not hold, it got hot....

Thanks for the tip on keeping tape in the fridge. I've never had a problem with tape, but most guys I know prefer glue, so I just wanted to know if the extra time was worth it.

taped feathers seemed to lean over on me in warmer weather. Went back to glue.

For whatever reason, I have never had a good experience with tape. I stick with glue and have never had any problems.

I love tape but had trouble with my last roll and used some Pine Ridge instant adhesive that I bought from The Footed Shaft, a sponsor. So far so good. Works as well as Goat Tough but a bit cheaper.

I had trouble with storing taped arrows in a box. If any side pressure they would give. The tape is nothing more than a thin layer of glue that should set,up over time to be about the same. I really like the platinum glue. If your fletching all the time tape will be fast. I don't do,as many arrows and for that reason use the glue.

Glue for me. I tried the tape and couldn't get the hang of it. The few I did fletch worked ok but didn't hold up like glue.

Yep I stopped using glue other than on the tips of the feathers, just to help the tape out.
