I got married April 28 and after we moved the wife made good on her promise of a wedding gift, so I ordered a PSA V- 60", 52# @ 28". I draw about 29.5".
What should I get to go with it? Right now I'm considering a bow quiver, new strings, and have already ordered some bow hush.
What would you recommend?

I would not get a bowquiver (just personal opinion) and would instead get a bow mate elite side quiver. Also get some arrow dynamics shafts to shoot with.

side quiver or if you want a bow mounted one a kanati pro. A angel majesty string from champion customs, felt pads for the string track and what ever arrows you want. Ive been liking the goldtip trads alot, tuff arrows and you can get the blems cheap. also post some pics when done

I have an almost identical bow on order that will shipnext week. Take a look st a Thunderhorn Lynx. I've had severa Selway and wasn't impressed aswell as a couple of Greatnorthern and although they are great quivers I like the Lynx best.

As far as bow quivers, I've always been partial to the Great Northern. Not sure if you are into it, but if you order one from BW it will have their logo on it instead of the Great Northern logo. Did you get quiver inserts on the bow? You can't go wrong with a string from Chad at Champion custom strings and I've heard great things about SBD strings. Silencers, bow hush is great or plain ole cat whiskers work great.

Once I started using the Kanati Pro Angle bow quivers, my others fell by the wayside. They are a GREAT bow quiver. Solid, silent, and they look good. Super quality also. You may want to do a search on bowstrings for your Widow. I was a proponant of after market strings until I read Ken Beck's piece on their Black Widow strings. He tested them against some of the best, including skinny strings and they (the B.W. strings) proved to the the fastest (aside from one a.m. string that beat it by 1 fps.) and the quietist on the B.W. bows. I have tried many types of silencers on my Widows, but with my 32.25" draw, the rubber spider legs have proved to be the best for my application. Good luck and congrats on a fine bow.

I appreciate the replies. I was thinking about getting a GN quiver, but the Kanati looks great! I wasn't familiar with them so I'm glad I did this.
I'll probably shoot the string that comes on it for a while before changing so I know what to compare it to.
I ran the dynamic spine calculator and it looks like a 30.5 or 31" Heritage 350 with a 50 gr brass insert and 125 gr point is a pretty good bet. Does that sound reasonable to folks with real world experience?

i think i would opt for a 175 grain head and , and skip the 50 grain insert ! i also shoot about the same bow and i believe the 350 is gonna tune too stiff , just saying , might want to start with one , !

Yup... I believe the 350 will be too stiff for ya. The 250's should work with the 125 gr. tip. Actually, if you ask the Widow guys, they can tell you EXACTLY what spine you will need for it. They have an indoor range and can pretty much hand you the arrow that shoots best for your bow/draw combination. They do carry the Heritage shafts and set me up in the blink of an eye with the proper spine. First arrow they handed me bare shafted great.

I'm afraid with the 250's I won't be able to get them as heavy as I like. With the 350's I can move from a 50 gr insert to a 100 gr insert and break the spine down some more and have close to 11 grains/pound.
Does this make sense, or would the 250's with just 125 up front truly be better?

It all depends on what you want. You get kenetic energy with a slower, heavier arrow... or a lighter, faster arrow. Kenetic energy is kinetic energy... so I personally opt for the flatter trajectory. At the draw weight you use, that 125 gr. tip and an arrow with a total weight of 425- 485 grains will smoke an arrow and kill anything in North America.
