Thanks everyone.

Ground hunting is really so much more enjoyable. Sure, you can't see as far and it can be tougher getting drawn on a deer, but you certainly don't have the hassle of a tree stand (especially a climber) and the risk of falling. And in my case, if the wind isn't right, you simply move to the other side of the trail. It's great when it all comes together at eye level with a buck. This was the forth deer I've taken from the ground - two others with a compound and one other one with a recurve when I first got into trad bowhunting.
