I saw this post on another site but I did check it out and it has been on the news as well...This girl was somehow shot in the back and she has undergone surgery and has been released from the hospital...She lived in Campbellsport, Milwaukee and her name is Aryanna Schneeberg...God please let her have a full recovery and heal her little body from this accident that took place..I also pray that we as archers will go and double check our back stops and teach our children, newcomers and ourselves as well that an arrow is a weapon and we must take every precaution to keep children behind us at all times and never take for granted that nothing is behind our intended target...I also pray we teach the safety issues over and over to our children and always asume an arrow could stray to the side, bounce off a 3D target and go airborn into a nearby yard....In Jesus name Amen...

Prayers for the li'l lass to recover fully.
With this rage set off by "hunger games" the movie (for which I know zippo) there has been a rash of recurves in low weights bought...some local stores report they can't keep them in stock. Heard the same at 2 shoots...
With such an influx of youth playing with bows...there is bound to be something nasty happen.
This may have been something different, but it makes me wonder and cringe when a movie makes a weapon "popular".
I remember throwing stars 40 yrs ago went thru that and every kid and big kid was throwing them at trees in their yard... without backstops!
Never heard much bad juju...but it's a wonder!

I will continue to lift this up to the Lord. Having hit by a bullet that skipped off of a pond I feel for this little lady. People sometimes don't know what is beyond their back drop when they let go of an arrow or shoot a shot from a gun. Sometimes they don't care either. Lord thanks for your protection of this little ladies recovery. Your will be done for all involved.......Dusty
