A few days ago my father had a stint put in his heart to open a clogged artery. He was doing fine until today, was feeling very weak and tired, went to the doc,
They couldn't see anything but he failed a stress test miserably, they admitted him. I cannot seem to get a hold of anyone for updates which is driving me crazy.
I dont ask for much but hope you can have a prayer for my old man so we can hunt this October together on the family farm.
Mom wasn't too keen on dad going away to hunt and leaving her alone. Guess she didnt think she was too safe! We never got to do too much 1:1 unless day trips!
So I will PRAY that with all they do with heart stuff today, that they can fix up your Pops so you guys can get to be out and about in the woods for years to come!
Prayers up, buddy...Keep the Son in your eyes!

I found the hospital he is in and called him a bit a go. he is recovering. Turns out the first stent wasn't working the way it should so they put another in next to it. I am happy he had enough common sense to know something wasn't right and went to the hospital.
If this one doesn't work it will be open heart surgery.

Stints work extremely well---when they work and they often do!!!
When they don't... it's a good thing your Dad has common sense enough to cry "uncle!"
Hopefully, this one will work well...
Prayers will continue. Hate to see anyone go through this and the next option is no picnic, but many live long productive lives after by-pass surgery... just a mean recovery for some!
Keep us posted and we'll keep your Dad in prayer!

Long as he just moves around and watches that incision site where they go in to do the 'cath' if I recall, it was ok to walk and move about...just not lifting and stressful stuff.
Prayers for this one to work excellent and he be back on the straight and narrow.
Lord in your mercy...
