I tried some plexi glass this morning. I had to used very fine sand paper to get a tooth on it. it did talk turkey but would not hold the tooth very long at all so it lost it's squeek. I think there are different densities of plexi glass but the one i had was not satisfactory. how did yours turn out.

the best glass I have is some pyrex that a friend of mine sand blasted. very consistant and tuff for glass. i have grits in sand blastering also. not sure what grit she used. she is a glass artist, stained glass, etched glass, etc. heee heee I wonder what colors she has [Smile]

If ya'as is seriuos about turkey hunting, there is nothing (IMO) that beats a mouth read. no hands, can tone it down or kick it up making it very practicle for the trad bow hunter.

I had to pratice a bit with mine before i got it down solid. I have to buy 2 or 3 a year cause i lose them somehow. so for nevr lost a scratch box.
