Thank you Dave. Even if it is not tunable, the neatness and easy to tie nature of your method look like it will be worth a try over the back and forth overhand knot method I have used in the past.

Thanks for taking the time to share your technique with us. Like a lot of the guys above, I have never been completely happy with my results before and settled for brass. You have motivated me to give your style a try - the "McDave nock"!

Between SBD, your tip, and the tutorial about wool yarn recurve wraps & silencers, my son & I have some sweet strings. Gotta love TG :-]

Looking at your video was good...but I did have to turn my back to the screen and go step by step..HaHa! Guess I had a hard time seeing it and doing it in reverse.
