Looking for bowhunting options in France. I can be based out of the Strausbourg area or near Verdun. Most interested in the possibility to hunt sanglier. Would be around Christmas.
Can get you on good whitetail hunting in the US if interested in a trade.
thanks
Ryan

I am from France but moved 5 years ago in CA. est of France is a great place for wild pigs, are you interested only about the east of the country? because I know a lot of people in the Loire Valley a friend of mine is a game keeper overthere and he needs people to keep the pigs population down...
Shoot me an email at garsrene@hotmail.com and we can talk about it.

Hi Ryan I'm not from that part of France so I can't do much for you. But, go to the French bowhunting website, register and ask. I'm pretty sure you will find people who are going to be more than happy to take you hunting near Verdun. you can also hunt roe deer there. My pseudo there is upnorth. When you are going to ask, say that you come from me, it might help speeding the thing. The French website is smaller that tradgang of course but we are 4000 bowhunters there, so you definitly will find at least one person.
Just a little advice, our website is small compare to americans ones, so it's like getting into a very small comunity. So, before you ask anything, introduce yourself. It will really help you. Don't worry about english writing, we will manage.
to write on the forum after your registration: front page on the top, find and clic on to "FORUM" then, find and clic on to "Connaissances du chasseur à l’arc" then to "Généralités" then clic on to "NOUVEAU"(right corner) edit title and you text then clic on to "ENVOYER CE NOUVEAU MESSAGE." then voilà.
PS: salut Garsrene ça roule ? I whant to help keeping the wildboar population low to, where is that place ?

A hint for us english speaking persons is you can google the french web site and use google to translate it. Works like a charm on archasse.com.

Thanks so much for the replies - I really apprecieate it.
My wife is from the East part (near Strasbourg) so I'm looking primarily around there because I have a base of operations either with her parents there or grandmother near Verdun. I'm more than willing to travel though, if I can find the right situation.
Thanks again and I'll be in touch.
Ryan
