well kevin have you got any shots yet hog hunting is a lot harder than most plp think after then been hunted a little bit then get smarter than any deer i have hunted them in GA. ark. my guess would be there are only moveing at night and from i have you have said there is a lot of plp hunting them down there now you can get on them a few ways bait is one if done right and right place trap them is always a good way dog them is a good way and a lot of fun plp try to drive them like deer and you may get a shot at one but most of the time you just run them out of the area and never see them anymore hogs are smart and have a better nose than a deer and hear better and unstand what then hear and how to reack to the sounds then hear

my buddy took a big sow yesterday that weighed about 300 lbs.tracked her from where she crossed the forest service road.he texted it to me while i was at work, looked like a big boar the way it was hanging.i tried to call him when i got in but he wouldn't answer the phone until this morning,he was teasing me,he knew i was wanting to know where he got it up.he said walking in that deep wet snow just about killed them trying to get her out.he said that they were going to go at it again in the morning,he had vacation this week.if i can catch up on my chores i'm going to meet up with him saturday morning.i'll keep ya posted!

Hey guys, If any of you are vets or live near Fort Benning you can hunt hogs there. The season for deer runs long and you can hunt hogs during deer season. There are hogs on Fort Benning, Stewart, Fort Polk, AFB in California ect.

hey fella's,looks like i'm eatin crow this spring cause we sure aint findin any pig sign on state land that we've hunted yet this year.they've got to be hiding out on private ground or they've all left the state.i didn't go this weekend cause i'm nursing a sore back after taking a swim in the drink trying to get my beaver traps out after the flooding.current took me for a good ride and my waders were full.
