Really like the 6 strand SBD's. I picked 7-8 fps, quiet and they look good. Matter of fact can't think of a single negative.

Pierre and SBD Bowstrings has my business for life!

They produce a superb, high quality custom-made product which has exceeded all my expectations for performance, consistency, longevity and craftsmanship. As I replaced the originally provided strings on some notable high-end longbows, there was always a substantial improvement in speed and shoot-ability. In one case, the same bow picked up 8 fps in addition to being noticeably quieter.

SBD stands behind their product completely, and their customer service is second to none. Pierre and family are kind and dedicated craftsmen and the kind of people I want to support. This is why i say that their strings are now on, and will remain on, every bow I own.

Here at Toelke Traditional Archery we had a chance to test a S.B.D. bowstring. After a month or more of shooting it and looking it over from a string builders view. I have to say it is probably the finest Flemish string on the market! Skillfully constructed, a perfect fit, and top of the line materials! I strongly recommend having a chat with Pierre before ordering your next Flemish string. Dan & Jared Toelke

Just got my first SBD string for my Big Horn and it is absolutely the best string I have ever used. The string is not only extremely functional but also very nice to look at.I am now getting ready to order another one.

Got my 10 strand strings with the recurve wraps and the puffs the week before last. I wanted to give them a try on my 49@28 PSAX and my 53@28 MAX. To say the least I am not disappointed. My MA went from bareshafting a 2018 with a 125 gr head to a 2020 W/125 gr head. Brace ht. from 8.625 to 8.75 and nock height from 9/16 to 5/8. As is the bow is quiet with the minimal silencers. The PSAX went up in spine too, from 1918 & 2016 to a 2018. Brace Ht. from 8.75 to 9.0. I still have just a bit of a twang in the string so I'll try adding alittle wool yarn to the puffs this weekend. I've never owned a custom string(s) before and this will certainly not be my last order from Pierre. VERY satisfied.

Ordered four more strings from Pierre, two for a Robertson Vision Falcon II recurve and two for a recently acquired Dale Dye recurve. As always they are right on the money and a testament to Pierre's talent and commitment to provide the very best.
