Just wanted to do a quick review of my new Dave Wallace Mt longbow that showed up 2 weeks ago after a 6 week wait from day of being ordered.
This is the nicest bow Ive ever owned as far as fit and finish..the finish is absolutely flawless not a spot on it no trash in the finish at all.
The bamboo on the limbs look amazing, the leather grip looks and feels awesome.I cant tell you how much attention to every single detail of this bow was given its just amazing.
How it shoots is also phenominal...I was in the back yard shooting it last night out to 30 yards and I was stacking 3 arrows in a 3" cirlce time and time again. This bow is 48# and Im shooting a 455 grain wood sitka spruce built by Paul Jalon and I feel Im as accurate with it as I am my Widow that Ive been shooting for over a year.
Dave has created a monster...that just might have to give him a run for his title.LOL...but maybe.
Dave kept in touch with me thru the whole process of building the bow, tuning the bow he kept the bow and shot it for a week once he got it built to make sure it was what he thought it should be.
What a bow

Can't beat Dave or the quality of his Wallace Mountain longbow (named, incidently for the hill behind his house)--I own three of them. Finish work is phenonmenal as you said. I also love the back quiver he made for me.

I recently acquired a 55# at 28'', 66'' longbow from Dave. It is everything you say it is. It has been enjoyable to shoot thus far. I like the grip more than anything.
