Ok, I am a recurve guy and it takes a lot for me to get excited about a one piece longbow, I just normally cannot shoot them worth a hoot. I shoot the threepiece longbows like the Schafer Silvertip and Brackenbury Non-typical and Caribow Silverfox pretty well but just not like I can shoot my recurves, therefore I do not keep them and sell them or trade them for one of my preferred recurves, Silvertip,Brackenbury Quest or Blacktail. well that has changed with this new bow.

I saw this bow on Abe's stock page and was drawn to it for some reason so I pulled the trigger and bought it. It arrived a couple of days ago and I finally was able to shoot her yesterday for a bit. I was amazed, smooth as silk, hard hitting, fast and puts the arrow right where I am looking, as a matter of fact the very first arrow out of her was a bull at 25 yards. I shot for about an hour and just could not put her down. To say I am pleased is an understatement, she is right there with my Silvertip and Brackenbury Quest recurves in performance and she will not be going anywhere. Hope to kill a pig with her here on Guam very soon, perfect size for my blind.

Do yourself a favor, give one of Abe's bows a look, you will not be disappointed, I have owned several of his Taiga recurves and Silverfox longbows as well as a couple of his Featherhorn longbows and they are all top performers.

Danny, A beautiful bow and from what you say, equal in performance to looks. What are the specs and particulars? Oh and the best of luck to you with it.

Danny,

I had asked Abe, via email, about this bow before they posted pictures. They sent me pictures.

And.... I did not pull the trigger. 8 to 10 pounds heavier and it would be in my backyard.

Congrats!

Man Danny, that is a beauty. Abe not only makes some great shooting bows, they are also great performers.
