Hey guys, I'm replacing my square yellow backyard target that was gifted to me when began this wonderful sport. Any recommendations or first hand testimonials? I primarily shoot a 60lb Bear Montana, about 30-50 arrows every night so I need something that can stand up to some serious punishment. I had the last one for about 8 months and it's falling apart both from the arrows themselves and the Texas sun. Thanks!

I've had real good luck with the Block targets... I own several and have one that is over 10 years old... it's kinda soft in the middle, but rotate it just alittle and it still stops arrows.

Good luck, shoot straight and God Bless,

Rodd

I have had decent luck with block targets but they don't hold up to broadheads as well as rineharts. I shoot 100-200 arrows a day and right now I own about 13 different targets. Most of them are block and rinehart with a few bag targets to. I am amazed with the rinehart 18-1 target. You won't find a better one for the money. They are worth every penny. I've been shooting Broadhead after Broadhead in mine for 3 years without 1 pass thru yet. Also stay away from Mckenzie block targets. In my opinion they are completely terrible as are the house brand blocks at cabelas, bass pro and places like that. Don't waste your money.

Thanks for the input. I decided to spend the extra money and get the Rinehart RhinoBrute. I feel the UV resistance will help in the Texas sun.

Awesome. That's a nice target, you won't be disappointed.
