Well...the best laid plans of mice an men

Looks like it's not going to happen. At least not as I had thought it might.

Looks like the club manager will keep the lease. I spoke to him yesterday about a possible bow only section and he is not very receptive of it. He is thinking about a bow only section, but a very small area would be put aside and you would have to join as a regular member at full membership price.

If something changes, I will post it here.

Jack,
What about looking in all the regular places and seeing if we couldn`t lease a place ourselves. I know not everyone likes the timber companies, but I`ve been leasing from them for about 5 years and I`ve found them okay.
MAybe if we can generate enough interest I`d be happy to start looking.
My criterea would be:
1. Location.
2. Amount of poaching/ tresspassing.
3. Last time it was leased.
4. Pigs and turkeys
5. Campsite
6 Ability to put in food plots.
7. Price.
They are not in order and i`m sure there are other considerations.
Chime in people and maybe this will work.
I`ll probley not be rejoining Cobbs Legion

I've been off the board a while, but I don't see this coming together. The lease Manager had told me if I got him several trad hunters, he would see about setting a portion aside next season. As always with this guy, he is crawfishjng on the deal.

Only way this property will work is if he looses a section and we could take it over ourselves with no involvement from him. Just my opinion
