Now that we know what it is, the question is, will it make a bow? I'm curious to know!

I thought it was a dead, barkless tree that some camo fanatic painted. From the shape of the tree and branches, and nearby leaves of another tree, I quessed walnut.

Well I be darned! And there I thought it was the work of some very tall psychedelicized retro hippie getting rid of his leftover scraps of many-colored paints! You just can't beat nature in any way, especially including truth and beauty. Now that's a tree I would hug!
