Thanks a bunch Steve, that buck and bear you took are beautiful animals! Congrats on those beauties and welcome to the Gang!

To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Hey, even if they have been posted before, lets see them again. Great pictures you guys. Kind of gets the old heart pumping just seeing the bruisers you tradgangers have nailed. Jim

Mike

Not much of a story on the IN buck..but there never is when things finally go right. Just suffice to say - hanging around with the chicks can get you in trouble. He followed a doe under me and the arrow ended up stuck in the ground 7 yards from my tree after it went through him.

The dude that checked him in at the checking station said "Wow, that's a good buck. Most GUN hunters would even be happy with him." as he looked at me like he felt sorry I couldn't afford a shotgun or camo.

Those are some nice shots guys [thumbsup] Congrats to all of you.

Here is my 'big buck'. One of the neighbors raised him and he was just a 'big pain in the butt' around the gardens.
