I did a survey a couple years ago on the other site and thought the results were interesting and helpful to people looking for information on starting weight bows. I'm adding a couple extra questions also.
FYI, the first question about your age when you started is broken down to seperate children, teens, young adults and mature adults. Each group tends to have their own physical limitations to some extent.
By the way for admin, cool feature for the site!! Never realized it was there before.

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark. Posts: 3245 | From: Kansas City MO | Registered: Apr 2003

Dave, As an Archery Teacher & Coach one of the first things that I have the kids do before loosing any arrows is to make sure they are capable of pulling back the lowest poundage bow that we have and doing it comfortable, then having each kid go through all the basic safety rules, do's & dont's, Q&A' before they get to the actual hands on of shooting. I also do this with 1st time archers, my oldest 1st timer is 56.I want them to learn correctly and have fun doing it. Just like all of us here at the TG.

Wow this could be good to see what the end result ends up I find the current age intersting. I didn't realize that it would be that way.

When I was a kid I didn't like being in the minority....now that I haven't been a kid for a very long time I find I don't like it anymore now than I did then!!!!
Very interesting poll. I've thoroughly enjoyed it.
