Note: so that you will know this set does have what I call dry pitch pockets that have broken up and fallen out while sanding. However, at .025" the small holes will easily fill when glueing up the stack.

I ran these thru the grinder an extra time or two. I've always felt Cedar needed to be rather thin to prevent problems. I've used them several times without problems.

As I cut deeper into piece of wood the curl started to slip away. Still these sets do have some curl and alot of burl showing.

If you like burl take a look at this. I wish I could get better pictures. These do not do the veneers justice.

(side note) The material set #1 came from had a bad cut at the mill. I'll offer this as a pair, or full set. The shortest veneer is 27" in length. I know that makes it long enough for some recurve limbs.

If Birdseye Maple is the trick for your next bow check these out. I'll post a picture of the set, then a close up so you can really see the eyes. I may also be wrong but if I'm seeing everything right these also have a bit of curl as well.
