I know some of you may have seen this veneer billet when I posted it on the Bowyers Bench. Well, now I have it cut into veneers. It's wild and crazy. If your looking for something totally different than anyone else, here it is.
Walnut, Red Elm and Maple pattern veneers 1-3/4" x 36" x .030" $40.00 for a set of four veneers plus shipping in the CUS only
I keep saying I'm not going to build myself another new bow this year. However, everytime I look at these it really makes it hard not to.

This is a wood I've been hunting for several months. I finally found it and now have veneers. Used natural it really makes a great looking limb. Stained, it stands out like crazy.
Quarter Sawn Sycamore 1-3/4" x 36" x .030" $20.00 for a set of four veneers plus shipping in the CUS only.
I'll be showing two pics of each set so you can see the change in the wood pattern.

At Times I get material that is intended for veneers. When the pattern doesn't work out as intended I make it into parallel laminations. As you can see in the pic the feathering between the anual growth rings of this American Elm is very short and only slightly shows on one side.
American Elm Parallel laminations 1-3/4" x 36" 1 pair in .035" and 2 pair in .040" $8.00 per pair plus shipping in the CUS only
As stated in this thread several times, any veneers or laminations you see in the 1-3/4" width can easily be reduced to 1-1/2". I'll gladly do it at "no charge" if you need 1-1/2" pieces.

If your wanting to start your first bow or just want to save afew dollars on your next one, then I have a super saver for you. As most of you well know riser material can be pretty costly.
Take a look at these riser blocks. I have both recurve and longbow riser blocks. If you see a block you want, but don't have a way of sanding to proper thickness just let me know. I'll gladly bring it to the right thickness at no charge to you.
Solid Black Locust Riser blocks $10.00 each plus shipping in the CUS only
Note: Recurve blocks #1 and #2 have been SOLD Pending Payment
Note: Longbow block #7 has been sold.

Here's something that's normally not in my line. However, I have so much Black Locust I'd have a hard time grinding it all into laminations.
If your into making backed bows or just thinking about making your first, here you go.
Some are edge grain while the rest is either flat or bias grain. I cut these approx. 72" in length. Most are slightly over 2" wide and approx. 1" thick.
Black Locust bow staves $10.00 ea. or $30.00 for four plus shipping in the CUS only
The water marks you see on the pieces are only on the surface. I've used quite a bit of the wood and one pass under the sander usually cleans it off.
