Just wondering how the banquet went for those that were able to attend?

It was a great weekend Leland - wish you could have made it! Thank you very much for the donation of the custom shirt also. I know it was on the silent auction table.

We had a little over 200 for dinner. That is a heck of a good turnout for a group the size of ours. More vendors than ever, and a bunch of great prizes. And the Saturday evening entertainment was outstanding!

It's a lot of work, but well worth every minute!

You got that right Joe. The entertainment was great. How could you get better than Art Young. What was that guys real name? He did an outstanding job. Do you where you can find the script(story) of what he read?

It was a great time with lots of great people, was not able to stay for the dinner, but next year ill be booking a room for sure. WTA members are a pretty close knit family, and it's great to get together with people you know and meet new friends. I'm proud to be associated with such a great organization.

I sat next to the speaker and his wife for a Friday night meal and do you think I can remember his name? This was only the 3rd time they put on this presentation and will do it again soon at the Pope and Young 50th in Rochester, Mn. His imitation of Young along with actual movie clips of his hunts while he explained in detail how the hunt came down was great. His script were Young's actual word and his use of a tele-prompter was flawless.

His name was Denny Ballard, and I think he is from Missouri. It really was an outstanding presentation, and my guess is Denny, I mean Art, is going to get a lot more requests from groups for his presentation.

I was so facinated listening to Art that I missed out on a sneaking in a final bid on some Gray Wolf clothing on the silent auction.

Seems I missed a great show. I was able to attend the business meeting and vendor area but had to leave before the banquet. I wish I could have stayed.

Yeah he was good..... I was looking at some things to bud on but when he started talking I then went and sat down...never to return to bid on items! I really liked the Sticshooter knife!
