The results. Full inclusion of crossbows got shelled 60.5% to 39.5%. Every time full inclusion is asked, the answer is No.

Yep, another in a long line of votes to keep them out of archery season. It's too bad that the vote on lower the age to 55 didn't follow along the same lines.
I never realized that my age handicapped me and entitled me to special privledges beyond the senior menu at Denny's. I wonder if this goes through whether I'll be able to park in the handicapped spots at WalMart too.
In spite of the excellent results on the full inclusion question I remain convinced that this is not the end of it here in our state. ATA and the crossbow industry will not be happy until they achieve their goal, and we need to remain vigilant and continue the fight.

Well they will get 55 and the kids have all the special seasons. Anyone want to bet that there will be something for the kids that includes xbows. There just has to be 3 or 4 that just need a xbow so they will no longer be excluded from the youth seasons.

I went with a friend to one of the meetings in Milwaukee, had me worried for awhile, cuz not that many people showed up. I hope it was different elsewhere. would have been nice to see more hunter turnout.

Turnout in Jefferson County was no more than normal years. Very disappointing with such a major question that could affect the future of bowhunting. I know life is busy for everyone, but it seems bowhunting is not that important to many. WTA And WBH both did a good job getting the word out. But I guess it's hard to make people care enough to show up. They will likely be the loudest critics when they don't like the changes down the road.

Greg your right on about using the "kids" for the another round of excuses to push the crossgun/bow use and all the do gooders will follow the mantra about good for hunting's future and keeps them interested blah, blah.
