Big Foot Archers of Lake Geneva is hosting the Wisconsin Traditional Archers (WTA) 2012 State Championship Shoot, July 14 & 15. Shoot open to the public both days. For the state championship, shoot 30 3D targets on Saturday to qualify for the shoot-off on Sunday. Top 32 shooters in each class to participate in a 5 target championship round. Note: this year the WTA board instituted that only WTA members allowed to participate in the Championship shoot off on Sunday. Cost: $12.00 just to shoot the 3D course and not the state championship. To shoot in the WTA championship, $17.00. Classes for men, women, youth, and cadet. Traditional equipment only - recurve, longbow, or selfbows. Free primitive camping. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner available. For more information call Bill Wright at 815-675-0519 or Bob Tastsides at 815-455-4374.

Club located south of Lake Geneva on Hillside Road which is one mile west of Wisconsin 120 between Willow Road and County B.

Hope to see you all then,

Bob

Knobby,

The state shoot is July 14th and 15th. The flyer for the state shoot is posted on the Wisconsin Traditional Archers website. http://wistradarchers.com/
The dates on the flyer are correct. (The dates just above the flyer are not correct)

You can check out all the other good stuff about Bigfoot Archers at http://bigfootarchers.com/Home_Page.html

Greg,

Saturday evening we are having a taco bar.

Lunch is a choice between chicken sandwiches, beef brisket, hamburgers, or hot dogs.

Looking forward to seeing everybody. Weather should be within normal ranges so camping should be good.

Glad you all had a good time. It was a lot of work but we had many compliments that sure made it all worth it. I think Sundays championship round was one of the most exciting I have seen in a long while. I have no idea how many shoot offs we had but it seemed in each class the competition level was very high. Congratulations to a couple of WTA members I have known a long time, Both Pam and Mac did a fine job winning their classes. I don't recall the youth and cub winner’s names but our sport has some fine up and coming archers to help carry this all on. I thank you all that came out!

Many thanks to your club. My wife and I had a great time. This was my first time to the club and was very impressed with the out door coarse, club house and what has to be the nicest camp ground we have stayed at yet. It was nice to see so many kids at the shoot and they did a lot of shooting as well.
