I know that our WTA President Greg S. is in Africa now and he will be giving us a report when he gets back.

I have been busy at work and at home. I need to spray some food plots today, split some wood and work in our garden. Our sweet corn is tasseled out and will be ready soon! Those first ears always taste so good!

I put a clicker on my bow last week, I was having issues with my draw length and also collapsing. I have been doing some training with it and things are improving.

not me. I have 4 pref points, so, maybe 3 or four more years yet, depending upon areas and game counts.

I hope to draw a wolf tag this year, have 2 points toward that.

Was planning to do a solo Colorado elk trip, but I may be opting out. I have a 5 month old Griffon (a pointing dog) pup that really can use some direction this year. Might be duck and pheasant and grouse hunting.

I will hunt WI and MI for deer and I want to take a trip south again over the winter for hogs and maybe javelina, that one is not yet planned. Might be on the lookout for a partner on that one.

Otherwise, I got a pup to train.

I will Hunt Wausau and Richland Center the last week of Oct and 1st week of November.

Chuck, Griffons are neat dogs. Great Grouse habitat out that way, not so much here.

I'll tell you what, if I were 25 years younger (and. . ahem. . not married) I would most definitely get another. What a babe magnet they are. "Oh, how cute ". . . .

And he is pretty neat on his own. Has a real personality of his own. Hope he likes chasing grouse et al. Right now he is into fireflies and butterflies !
