Skottyboy you can hunt with a boat or without look at area on google earth you will see what the area looks like. I just like to walk alot, there is alot of area by boat that is not hunted ,last year the deer were close to the lake,I hunted the ditches with green grass next to lake, just look for fresh tracks leading in and out of area..Set stand up down wind of area..you got gravel roads that run for miles between lake, and high way 270.There are bear in area ....In a boat you have to run the creek arm 3 mi to get to the main lake, you need to have running lights on your boat...p.s. the lake can become dangerous in a wind over 20 mph...also bass boats running over 60 mph in the dark...

No skeeters? We are thinking of the same Arkansas, right? The one between Missiouri and Louisiana?

I sure wish I didn't have any skeeters in my neck of the woods. The skeeters around here have been know to hi-jack the Red Cross blood bus on occasion.

God Bless,
Nathan

Non Resident annual all game $300
Non res 5 day all game $150
Non rea 3 day all game $100

These are the prices from last year's book. I don't have a current book but I would think the prices are the same as last year.

Think I read somewhere that you are around Shreveport. This lake is only a few hours away if so. I'm sure everyone would welcome you to the gathering.

Pac has the right prices. Here's the link to the AGFC website.

http://www.agfc.com/licenses/Pages/LicensesHuntingFees.aspx

You can obtain your license online, too. If you're from Shreveport you could come up through Texarkana and we could convoy or share a ride if our schedules work out. PM me if you want to do that and we'll make a plan.

Folks if you have a digital camera please bring it and take a photo of whatever catches your eye. Last year I was the only one to bring a camera and I made a presentation from the shots. More photos = more options to make this year's presentation that much nicer.

Off to spin pizzas.
