Dave what is the unit # for that area? If it is 11 or 13 there are some gun hunting dates we need to work around.
The deer anterless gun hunt opens 13 Oct, muzleloader opens 20 Oct & Modern gun opens 10 Nov for units 11 & 13.
We always have the option of hunting somewhere else but Crystal Springs is kind of a tradition now.

I'm going to hunt but may have to hunt during the middle of the week. I have end of year bass tournaments on 29 Sep and 13 Oct so I know those weekends are no go for me. I don't know about 6 Oct yet and the gun hunters will be there on 20 Oct.
I have one other tournament for Oct but the date has not been set yet. As soon as I know I can make plans for sure then.
Curley come on and join the crew. This will be our third year and so far we haven't lost a hunter yet. It will take awhile to hammer out the details but we will get it done.

I've been working on teaching myself to shoot right handed so I can try some of the other bows down there. I'm going to put dual shelves on the bow I'm working on now.
Whatever we get figured out I'll make it down there some one way or the other. Might be midweek or something depending on drill but it'll work.

I have the weekend of 6 Oct open. That being said I can actually hunt from 1 Oct - 11 Oct without any problems but 12 & 13 Oct I will be fishing my last tournament for the year.
If we go with 13-14 Oct I can hunt 7-11 Oct or 14-19 Oct. That way I can be there for at least one day with the crew.
