I was hoping for a late season deer this afternoon after work..but a group of hogs came in.. could not turn down this fat young sow.. I could hear them for an hour, they came in at last light. I shoot totally instinctive so low light is not a problem, shot was 9 yards from a 15 ft ladder stand, she went about 25-30 yards and I heard her go down so I didn't have to blood trail. The bow is one of my homemade 58" recurves the first one I made back in 2009, broadhead was a 175 grain Razorcap that I got from the Chris Surtees auction, they were donated by S2 Bowstrings -

Congratulations, Robert! What an extra kick to do it with a bow you made.

Good job Robert. I have several pictures of that very same hog. It looked like there were about a dozen of them all together a couple times.
I haven't actually seen a hog since the first week of November. On the up-side, I also haven't seen any bears for awhile.

Awesome- got there this am just after first light and saw them move out of the wallows- seems odd with this cool weather they are in the water and mud at night?
