Went up there on the season opening,scouting for a couple of days.Didn't see any hog tracks.But I didn't cover a big area.Down here where so live though(Baldwin county)there is a wma that I hunt with tons of pigs.I ll pm u.

all of us need to get together for a hog hunt before it gets too hot and mr. no legs comes crawlin out

I haven't been there in years, so this may be out of date. During a big game season, such as deer or turkey season, you can shoot hogs. There were a couple of special hog hunts after spring season with indifferent sucess, they open only certain areas that may or may not have hogs on it.

Just saw this thread. I have some land in the Talladega Nat Forest near Mt Cheaha. I have never seen any hog sign in my area. There are deer, but dog hunting is allowed in my county (talladega) and they are very skittish and hard to pattern. Tons of Turkeys and small game. If you guys see any hog sign, let me know. Would love some pork!
