I bet those crawdads looked like lobsters to you Too Short.........
Most people don't realize what a brave thing you did attacking those big rascals by yourself.

Thanks for sharing that. Obviously I never met him but Paul is the reason I got into bowhunting. In an old Outdoorlife magazine there was an article on Paul after his death (I still have the magazine). And reading that article about him and his bows lit my bowhunting fire. I still hope to someday find a Silvertip made by him.

Gene, what else can I say! Feel free every now and then to give us another shot in the arm like the Schaf article. God Bless.

Gene, thanks for writing the article to say I enjoyed it would be a real understatement. I really enjoy first hand writing especially about Paul.

Gene, The pictures of him with big recurves in the early 80's is what influenced me in trad. archery. He was like the Arnold S. of trad. archery that influenced us young aspiring eighteen yr. olds. ( well there wasn't very many).

Thanx for sharing the experiance you had with Mr. PAUL

The power of the pen! Thanks for spending the time to put in ink your refections and exploits with Paul Schafer. Doing so gives all of us that did not know him, a better understanding of what he was really like.
