Well, the first applications for game awards are in and posted on our website: AWARDS
If you are a MLA member please submit applications for the game you take. It's not about receiving awards; that is just an incentive to encourage you to take the time to share information and photos of your hunts with your fellow MLA members. The award applications are in 'Sticktalk' and are up top on the page linked above.

Here are the details for the 2012 Awards Banquet, the greatest deal in archery. Also dont forget the Photo contest, The Desert contest and the arrow building contest, all part of our great banquet.
Banquet 2012 2012 will be the 19th. Annual awards Banquet. This has been a very successful and fun event for all of our members. The date for 2012 will be February 18 the place is Woodshire Banquet hall in Fowlerville. The price will still be $15.00 per person; we are able to keep this price because of our generous member contributions at the banquet, Please feel free to bring along something for the raffle and auction. There will be a $500.00 door prize towards a longbow from one of our many member bowyers. Tickets will have to be purchased and paid for by Jan 29, 2012 to be eligible for the drawing, Tickets may be purchased after that date but you will not be eligible for the $500.00 door prize. All members and their spouses are eligible for the drawing; guests are welcome at our banquet but are not eligible for the door prize. The doors will open at 4:00pm for social time and Dinner will be at 6:00pm. Awards raffles and the Auction will follow. Payments can be sent to: Ken Scollick 3431 Old Creek Dr. Holly, Mi. 48442 If you are also sending your renewal please send a note along with your payment. To keep costs low you will not receive an actual ticket that will be given at the door. If you would like more information on this great event please feel free to contact Ken or any council member.
