This was my wife and I's first Mojam and we were a little shy and taken in by all the goings on. But we met some really nice people and made a few trades. I thank Roger Marconi Keystone for helping my wife step out of the darkside. He taught her a osage selfbow isn't as hard as she thought. He loaned her a bow for the next few months and she is excited. Now the training wheels are up for good. This was a great experience for her and I.

This is Bill Metcalf mounting a stone head he knapped in a cane shaft. Man, that guy can really knap! And he had a crowd around him the whole time he was there.

Nice pics Mr Vic. I passed you and you wife eating at the back of your van on one of my trips up the road. Wish now I had stopped and said hello. No reason to be shy in this crowd. If ya see a group just walk up and say Hi. Most likely they will stick something good in your hand to eat or drink and invite you to sit a spell.

Larry, the bow is from the first stave you gave me that you cut last fall. I took it down to a single growth ring right before I left for MOJAM, then did the rest down there. It sure was a nice piece of wood. Had lots of comments on how nice the growth rings were.
The bow ended up being just over 58" long nock to nock.
Sure wish you could have made it...I'll definitely be back.
