Any good hunter would have his tags filled before the second weekend. [Wink]

I understand, and good luck on the birds.I can shoot fish on Sundays. [bigsmyl]

Yeah James, but it's hard to fill your tags when you got 3 boys to guide that have to shoot one first. Trying those simmons heads you been pushing. I'll keep you posted. DB

Mike Brooks and I went out last Sat and we saw one hen (and about a hundred hunters) and she was clen across the county from us. Didn't get to go on the base yet as I'm waiting to get my permanent base sticker on my new truck (Grrrr!)
I'll be interested on how those heads do on the Turks too, Don.

Good luck on your shoot, James. I will make at least the last one of the year, Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise. I went to the web site and got nostalgic seeing the old barn (nice pic).

Well at least you guys have a place to hunt that might have a turkey. [Frown] I have to spend the time chasing fish.Don if those Simmons don't do the job it is because you screwed up so don't blame the broadhead. [bigsmyl] I think you will love them once you kill something with one.I have never shot a turkey but they are great on everything else.John will probably be mad when he finds out you are useing them because they don't fit in baby quivers. NChunter and I are planning on making it there saturday. Brittman said he might make it too. I have never shot there but heard it was one of the better shoots around the central piedmont. Looking forward to it.
