I'm finally (partly) ready to start posting some pics from the great times at ATAR this year.
Camp Dunn, with my new Ozark Trail EZ-up knock-off in the forground, Lois' tent (on the left) and mine:
Camp Killdeer right beside us and Bill Pearce had his hammock stretched between a couple trees between the two campos - LOL - Bill and Killie relaxing:
Daughter, Lois getting ready to relax:
Lois, Bill, and Killie - also Bills "Minimalist Camp" between the trees behind him:
Sign in front of the ... sh ... uh ... uh ... oh yeah, the Pavillion (that's my coke in a camo hugger on top of it - sign of a sloppy photographer):
(Many more to come, after breakfast. I may be "appearing here all week" - LOL)

Thanks, buddy - LOL. You must be right, I had no idea I had taken so many, especially when I was shooting my Anneewakee Addiction, "Blackie", every time I turned around too. I don't really know how I found all the time (or the energy either - LOL). I guess I was just feeding off the fantastic good times of this particular ATAR-fest.
While turning the Dino Home Herd over to Sandy Thorn I took this shot of the kids range with it's new Carp and Mosquito targets. The "Skeeter" is between the Poison (red) Frog and the plain frog. Sandy let Bill take one pay-back shot at the durned mosquito, since he had helped her set up while waiting for Lois and I to arrive:
I caught Sandy in a quiet moment in front of the Dino Store table, befor her dizzying "whirling dervish" weekend began:
Gene Thorn (center) and Bill Stroup (of the beautiful wood arrows) chat with (I think) one of the TradTech reps. They donated four bows to award to the kids again this year. Dave (I forget last name, sorry) in the background:
Fri. AM, a young archer checks out the Dino Store:
Sandy gives the "indoctrination" to Lois (while Lois "mugs" the photographer). Lois had agreed to do a stint at the Dino Store Table. Like her Mother (and Father), Lois loves kids, "especially when they are going home with someone else." (Big Sneaky Grin):
(more to come)

Dewayne, I'll be posting the scores in the next couple of weeks, possibly this weekend if things are calm around here. We got a baby that's ripe for the picking today that will have me on guard duty for the next few days.

Best of luck on the new addition - all around, Bobby. God be with you all at this blessed time. .............................
Lois found her helper and "new friend" , Brooke, was an "old" friend of mine over the last three ATARs, due to getting Dinos for her younger brother, who can't make the shoots yet. She's a 14 year old sweetheart, and, as Bill said, "a wild girl on the swing," at the campgrounds:
More "customers" at the Kid's Store;
Action on the kids range and supervision by a loving family member:
One for the big Dino (right in the tail):
...and one for the well-loved/hated Cobra (right in the hood):
(more to come)

More folks enjoying a food break. The young girl with the glasses, we've sort of watched grow up at the shoots too. So many of them like that at these shoots - in such a great, healthy, happy invoirenment of parental guidance, love, and sharing. I'm so glad, and blessed, for all of it I've been able to enjoy, and for my daughter, Lois being able (and willing) to share this great one with me. (If I appeared to be beaming particularly brightly this year, now you know the reason why.):
Good friend, Lonnie Sneed, a former (many year) Club Pres/founder, and long-time Morrison shooter talks with one of my favorite, gentle folks in the archery world, and well-known bowyer, Bob Morrison. I'm sure they are discussing the merits of Morrison bows, of which there are many. They should be busy for a while:
(Oh, we haven't even scratched the surface yet - )

Now, here is a sequence of child involvement in trad archery that is elemental and inspirational.
John Davis Dill, says, "Let's get these PVC poles unloaded, and get set up."
"Stack em here, guys, c'mon!" John Dill and the Lee Hoots contingent are more into the "planning side" it seems, while John Davis is obviously anxious to "git 'r done." (I think he takes after Mom, Cindy, in that aspect - LOL):
"Now, for the stakes, guys, and we'll be good to go.":
"There, that's done - now comes the fun part! Now, where did those guys scatter to?"
No, this isn't exploited child labor - LOL - it was all John Davis' own ideas and desires and I was lucky enough to catch it all in pics. He's a pistol! My Lois could not stop watching his activities off and on all week end.
Here is another pistol - of the "Princess" variety. Melissa and Preston Roberson's Daughter, Lilly. She was born on ATAR week end, two years ago, so she's an ATAR Baby. Lilly doesn't let anything stop her or her friendly, pleasant attitude and smile. She is a mover and shaker, a real pleasure to behold, and what a heartpleaser she is going to be:
(More yet, with your friends and mine, sports fans, after a break to run to WallyWorld.)
