Don't you just hate those that are lucky enough to be in Kalamazoo this weekend! Just kidding, keep those posts coming so the rest off us can live the dream vicariously through your hedonistic experiences. I was fortunate enough to go one time and highly recommend the faithful make that pilgrimage at least once. Bought my plane ticket months in advance and obsessed over the probability of getting iced out of Detroit Metro in January and missing it. Went off without a hitch. Got snowed out of Raleigh, N.C. on my return leg. US Airways flew me all over the eastern US of A before finally being stranded in Houston. Go figure!

I hear ya. I empied my wallet and actually had to get into the check book!

However, I should have enough calf hair shelf material and 145/175/200 to last me until 2014, and a new bow that should last me a few decades.

I actually couldn't keep a straight face with that last part.

Flight delays have me sitting in Detroit.
I am a happy tarmac camper, though!!!

First time at the event, other than crappy weather Saturday morning on the trip south to Kzoo it was an awesome day! Two of the four guys in our party ordered bows, one finally met his bowyer, and the last stumbled on the perfect non toxic arrow paint. After spending 5 hours indoors I dreaded the ride home but it was sunny and roads were clear, nice end to the day. Looking forward to next year already!

I bought a couple of good books from Gene Wensel and Mike Mitten. I am now finally home.
Didn't walk. Flew.

Boy are my arms tired!!

Sure wish it wasn't a 1300 mile drive! I'd love to go there someday.
