Folks, for those of you that have attended the Howard Hill Southeastern Classic, you know I also have raised money for the Boy Scout Camp, adjacent to Tannehill State Park. I also use the Camp for most of my target course. So far I've raise over $13,000.00 over the past six yeas for this camp. Well, this year I'm having a table with I hope at least "Five Raffle Buckets", with prize packages.
Four of these buckets are off to a great start. One has a bow from "Big Jim's Bow Co.", the second has a "Legends Bow from Mike Rash", a third has a "Bubinga Takedown Recurve" from BEAR Archery and the fourth is a custom Howard Hill "Tembo", up to 75#.
I will be placing many other items with these bow, such as other hunting or camping equipment, bow socks, and many other items. In other words, each bucket will represent an outstanding package.
Tickets will be a dollar a piece or you can purchase your arms reach as far as you can reach for only twenty dollars. You can put all your tickets in one bucket or spread them around giving you more than one chance of winning.
Drawing will be Saturday night during supper and you don't have to be present to win.
I'm in the process of trying to get one more bow and I'll keep you all posted.
I believe this will be an outstanding raffle for this great Boy Scout Camp.

I just spoke with Teresa Asbell, and she is not only giving five bow socks, one for each bow, she's also making a matching GFA Quiver to go with each sock.
Again, this is going to be an outstanding raffle with super packages to be won!

Folks, so far from the great Bowyers and Bow Company, there are approximately over $3,000.00 worth of bows.
With TWarrows, Hunters Image (Teresa Asbell), Thundervalley Archery, Summit Tree Stands, Academy Sports & Outdoors, we're totaling approx. over $4,300.00.
********* Archery is also putting some products together for me as well.
Heck, as my friend Scott Gray commented, the raffles themselves are worth the trip to the HH Classic this year.

In addition to the raffles Terry also auctions off items to benefit the boy scouts and this year I have acquired an item that will be auctioned off. You don't have to be a vendor or dealer to donate by the way. A friend of mine had a framed limited edition NWTF print that he got a banquet a couple of years ago and his wife wouldn't let him hang it in the house so he gave it to me, only I don't have room for it so I talked him into letting me donate it for the auction. It has never been hung and is brand new. It is by Marian Anderson and is entitled 'Savin' Powder.' I think its a beautiful print complete with selfbow, turkey, flintlock, and mountain scene...and I swear a fellow named Ron posed for the painting. The attached photo is the same print and frame only the one I have is #1480 of 2500. More info can be found on the print at the following links.

Folks, BASS PRO SHOP along with ********* ARCHERY will be adding to these growing packages.
WHAT A GREAT RAFFLE AND BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THE MONEY REALLY HELPS THIS CAMP.
Below is part of a letter that Jeff Brasher, with the Boy Scout's main office here in Alabama has said about where money I've helped raise is used at the Boy Scout Camp.
"The money donated to Camp Jack Wright is used for several projects, several I’ve been personally involved with. Occasionally, there is a control fire burn done by the Alabama Forestry Service to help with the undergrowth and ticks. There have been several pavilions built for the Scouts to use while enjoying the Camp. Just recently there has been many trails worked on, latrines repaired and a new council ring area for gatherings of Boy Scout groups while visiting Camp Jack Wright."
Every dollar raised helps in some way for this Camp.

Folks, this raffle is shaping up to be QUITE A RAFFLE INDEED!!
Who can forget about those outstanding bows from Bear Archery's Take-down recurve, Zach Ferguson's ZBow, Big Jim's longbow, Mike Rash's "Legends Bows "Tornado" and Craig Ekin's custom Howard Hill "Tembo".
I'm collecting an unbelievable list of items from TWArrows, a beautiful limited edition print from Dwight Thompson, a treestand from Summit Treestands, several items like cloves and arm guards and tabs from Mark's Outdoors here in Birmingham, Bow socks with matching GFA side quivers from G. Fred & Teresa Asbell, several items from Bass Pro Shop as well as two more limited edition prints for the packages.
I also just got back from Academy Sports & Outdoors, spending a $500.00 gift card donated for the packages. Got some great prizes to go with the raffle from them.
If you all miss out on getting tickets from this raffle, you're missing out on FIVE CHANCES TO WIN AN UNBELIEVABLE PACKAGE. OR MAYBE ALL FIVE!!!
