Craig, Very happy to see that you had a great time and liked the shots at the PLA shoot this weekend. I hope you will come back for this shoot in June. For this shoot in June the longest shot will be 30 yards +/- 3.

I was asked what thier is to do for nonshooters and in the evenings other than set around and bs, so here ya go. Saturday morning thier is a nice size flea market in Port Royal. Saturday evening for you dirt track racing fans Port Royal Speedway will be racing www.portroyalspeedway.com. All weekend long will be Tuscarora Valley Heritage Days in East Waterford. The town of Port Royal turns 200 this year and in Port Royal their will be a little gift shop set up and from what I am told some interesting stuff on sale. Also don't forget the Juniata River is very close by for bass, catfish and muskie fishing and Licking Creek is closer yet for trout fishing.

Couldn't pull my achin bones up Saturday for the PLA after a rousing trial in camping in 22* weather in N.NJ, then turkey hunting in Centre Co...I got home whipped!
I will be there, Lord willing. If possible, maybe early like that first year to help out with whatever might need done.
You still going to do the short "Iron Man" course? didn't see it listed. I still laugh that I shot that after you guys left that one day I worked with ya'll and hit every target...then panicked when I knew it was a competition course! LOL
You had some onerey layouts in that one, but do-able!

No iron man course but if I have the help to run them I have a couple of interesting 50/50 shots in mind.

If you want to put up a schedule of volunteers, you can put me in for a 2 hr slot Friday or Saturday...whichever suits to run one of your 50-50s.
Those who are planning to attend: Contact Brett (SStone) and volunteer a 2 hr shift! We can make this happen... he comes up with some bizarre ideas for "tricky" (not trick) shots! LOL

I'm going to try to make this shoot this year, if I'm free (I need to check the schedule with "the boss"...). How far of a drive from Baltimore?
Thanks!

Thanks Dave! Excellent! The boss called me back and I got the green light as long as I'm back early enough Sunday to enjoy Father's day with the kids....looks like I'm in! Looking forword to it also.
Now, I just need a nice, level and shady spot to set up my tent. Hows the camping? They supply firewood also? Man, this is getting better by the minute. I can smell the steak over a open fire already....
