Killy, next year plan on joining us! We can make room for your tent at our camp! We eat well, tell a few lies, and shoot until we get tired of shooting (which takes awhile)!

This was Adam's and my 5th Comptons. We look forward to this every year like opening day of deer season. This year was a little tougher due to economics, but I'm not gonna let that stop us.
Last two years I was in the vendor tent and didn't get to shoot much with Adam. He's 11 and won't be the youngster he is now, much longer. This kid shoots every day till he about passes out. Actually, he does.
I took a couple Hill Country Bows along for a couple folks who asked. I took one on the Green course and one arrow fell into the kill zone.

Thanks Kenny! That shoot, and the NALS, and the Tennessee Classic are must-dos before I die. Adam sure had a good time. Good to see you having so much fun together.

I must be getting old. I left for Compton and forgot to even bring a camera!
I would really like to get some high quality pictures of this years events. We would like to use them on our website, and also for magazine articles. Kenny, Adam's pictures would be great. Could you forward some high resolution images to me?
I would also appreciate pictures of anything else that represents the rendezvous. Vendors tents, speakers and seminars, raffles, broadhead displays, camping area, and of course, shooting.
If you have high resolutions pictures that you can share please forward them to me at lasch@gdinet.com
Thanks, and we'll see you all next year!! Posts: 8771 | From: Lake Mills, WI | Registered: Mar 2003

For those of you who have a Facebook account, I've uploaded my pics to the Compton Traditional Bowhunters' Facebook page. For anyone that doesn't have an account, MAYBE...and I stress MAYBE...this link will work.
If that link doesn't work, I'll have to re-size and post some pics up later. I'm pretty busy this week, but will get them up when I can if need be.
Whip, I've shared what pics I have with Jim already, in case he needs them for the newsletter. I'm still kicking myself in the backside for not getting pictures of the board members hard at work.

DISCLAIMER: If the pics of the vendor areas appear to be lacking in attendees, that is because I took those pics kind of late on Sunday. Saturday was much busier than those pictures show.

The link worked for me - great pictures Jameson.
Anyone else with some pictures of the crowds? Chili feed, camping area, seminars, etc. would be perfect.

I usually always take pictures but having the dog along with several trips into the river prevented that this year.

I did take my camera and did get some pics BUT...... most of the pictures from under the big tent were very dark as my on camera flash must have decided to give up the ghost without me realizing it. I will do my best to post what I have though. I took alot of photos of the Pee Wee shoot (6 and under) on saturday morning as my 5 year old son Ian took part in it. I owe Tom from Trad Archers World Magazine some pics and also Caroline from the Michigan Longbow Association.
